My Story

In August of 2015, I moved from a medium sized town in Bloomington, Illinois to attend Arizona State University because I felt that pushing myself into such a drastic change of environment would have a positive impact on my progress as an individual. I originally chose to pursue a degree in business, but after my first year I grew bored and began to believe that the concepts being taught were not up-to-date with the rapid change in global business due to the Internet. I knew I wanted to study something more meaningful in my eyes, so I decided to change my major to Digital Culture - Graphic Information Technology because I wanted to learn the details of internet design and experience. I am happy with my decision because I am now very passionate about the global consciousness that is the Internet. My experience as a Design & Marketing Intern has only made this passion stronger and inspires me to continue learning about all aspects of human-technology interaction in hopes of providing solutions to the complex problems that come with rapid technological progress.
